Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas AME Zion
Church for Mr. Deanie Armstrong, who died
Oct. 29, at a local hospital after a brief illness.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cassie Armstrong; two sons, Morton Cherry and
Clyde Cherry; three grandchildren, Gloria Ann, Al Morton and Lamon Linear, and
many other relatives and friends.

Gordon’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and interment was in Calvary
Cemetery.
