She was a native of Norfolk and besides her husband, William R. Armstrong, Sr., is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert Milner, of Florida; Mrs. B.D. Bradford, of Norfolk, and Mrs. J.T. Butler, of Chuckatuck; two sons, W.R. Armstrong, Jr., of Norfolk, and A.G. Armstrong, of St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. C.O. Sherwood, of Norfolk, and 16 grandchildren. She was a member of Colonial Avenue Methodist Church, Virginia Chapter Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge No. 13, Pythian Sisters No. 3, the Maccabees Review No. 5. Remains were taken to H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, pending funeral arrangements.
