The Rev. Alex Warner will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home handling the arrangements. Mrs. Armstrong was the daughter of Calvin Reed and Mrs. Martha Reed, and the widow of George W. Armstrong. A native of Princess Anne County, she lived in Norfolk 35 years. She was a member of Solid Rock Disciple Church. She is survived by one son, Capt. Lloyd Armstrong of the U. S. Air force; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia A. Broan, Norfolk; one brother, Ernest Malbon, Norfolk; two grandchildren and other relatives.
