Norfolk - Funeral services were held April 15 in the Hale Funeral Chapel for 
Mrs. May Belle Armstrong of 859 Tyler street.  The Rev. J. L. Kearney 
officiated.  Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery.

The Hertford, NC, native was the daughter of the late Moses and Mrs. Anna 
Boyce and the wife of Lorine J. Armstrong.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother, Asbury Hurdle of 
Hertford;  and three sisters, Mrs. Sophronia Copeland of New York City, Mrs. 
Dora Mae Gibbs of Elizabeth City, NC, and Mrs. Ida King of Norfolk.
