Armstrong, died at a local hospital Sunday morning at 7 o'clock after a short illness. She was a daughter of L.D. and the late Mrs. Emma Dixon Marchant, a native of Mathews County. Although a former resident of Norfolk, Mrs. Armstrong for the past two years has been living in Mathews. She returned here only a week ago to make her residence. Surviving her besides her husband and father are two daughters, Emily and Evelyn Armstrong; one sister, Mrs. J.D. Foster, of Norfolk and three brothers, J.D. Marchant and T.C. Marchant, of Norfolk and Theodore Marchant, of Mathews County. The body will be taken from the James V. Derry Funeral Home, 346 West Princess Anne road, to Central Baptist Church for funeral services this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. P. Rowland Wagner will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
