Quinn St., died Nov. 9, 1993, in Arlington. Mrs. Shadley-Armstrong was born in Norfolk and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk. She was a graduate of Maury High School, received an associate degree from Northern Virginia Community College and was working on a B.S. degree from George Mason University. She was employed as a secretarial temp with Snellings Personnel Service for one year. She had served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. Survivors include her husband, Calvin Armstrong of Norfolk; one son, Calvin Lamonte Armstrong of Arlington; her mother, Eliza J. Shadley of Norfolk; three sisters, Linda Baker of Norfolk, Diann Williams of Germany and Betty Jean Shadley of Norfolk; two brothers, Theodore R. Shadley Jr. of Japan and Clinton J. Shadley of Washington, D.C.; two aunts; two uncles; nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Dr. John Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
