Armstrong of 223 Hanson Ave., a native of Nashville, Tenn., died Thursday here. Mr. Armstrong had retired from Pennsylvania Truck Line after 22 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Delores C. Armstrong; four daughters, Darlene Bishop, Renita Armstrong, Hermenia Armstrong, and Rhonda Armstrong, all of Norfolk; six sons, Larry Bishop of Plymouth, N.C., Michael Bishop of New York City, and Clarence Armstrong Jr., Everette Armstrong, Jimmel Armstrong and Eric Armstrong, all of Norfolk; his mother, Grace McEwen and his father, John Lee Armstrong; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in graves Funeral Chapel by Dr. Richard A. Councill. Burial with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at the residence.
