Virginian-Pilot  January 14, 1966
Norfolk - William Eugene Armstrong, 61, of 103 Colley Ave., retired from Norfolk 
Naval Shipyard, died Wednesday in his home.

A native of Philadelphia, he had lived here since childhood.  He was a member of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are three cousins, Mrs. Yates Stirling, Herman Armstrong, and William 
Leon Armstrong, of Norfolk.

The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Saturday at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.  Those who desire may contribute to St. Mary's Infant Home.
