Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, January 1, 1992 
Amanda Elizabeth Arrington of the 2500 block of Tidewater Drive, a retired
clerk, died Dec. 29, 1991, in a hospital.

Mrs. Arrington was born in Surry County. She had retired from Index
Confectionary after 20 years. She was the widow of Thomas T. Arrington and was a
member of First Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a niece, Olivia Willis, and a nephew, the Rev. Waverly W.
Jones Sr., both of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Calvary Baptist
Church by the Rev. J.L. White. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may
join the family at the residence. The body will be placed in church at 9 a.m.
Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
