Fred B. Arthur of 1048 Tanner St. died Saturday in a hospital.

A native of Edgefield, S.C., he was a son of Lee and Mrs. Hattie Arthur and the 
husband of Mrs. Martha R. Arthur.

He was a 20-year retired employe of Princess Anne Country Club and an employe of 
Bratten Pontiac.

He was a member of First Baptist Church (Bute Street) and Bellman Association. 

He was also past master of Campbell Masonic Lodge 67.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Chester Arthur of Edgefield 
and Louis Arthur of Washington; and four sisters, Mrs. Annie L. Johnson of 
Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Cluvella Bobb and Mrs. Minna Nicken of Washington and 
Miss Josephine Arthur of Washington.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church (Bute 
Street) by the Rev. E.P. Simms. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Graves 
Funeral Home has charge.
