Asbal, aged 40 years, died yesterday evening at 7:30 o'clock in St. Vincent's hospital after an illness of several weeks. The funeral services will be conducted at the residence of his brother, Thomas Asbal, 52 Liberty Street, South Norfolk, this afternoon at 4 o'clock and burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia cemetery. *********************************************************************** The funeral of John J. Asbal was conducted at the residence of his brother, Thomas Asbal, 52 Liberty Street, yesterday afternoon, by Rev. E.T. Dadmun, pastor of Memorial M.E. Church. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Mark Saunders, Russell Dowdy, J.G. Griffin, H.C. Collins, J.W. Aydlett, Wallace Etheridge.
