 Virginian Pilot January 6, 1901

Jesse, the interesting 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Quinton Asbell, of Thirty-
fifth Street, died at 2:10 a.m. yesterday after an illness of three weeks from 
spinal meningitis. The funeral will take place from the residence of his parents 
at 2 o'clock this afternoon.

The funeral of Jesse, the 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Quinton H. Asbell, took 
place from the residence of his parents at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and was 
conducted by Rev. Geo. W. Cox, of Burroughs Memorial Baptist Church. The 
interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
