Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Sept. 19,1936
Mrs Lola Mae Ashburn, 40 of 943 Denhart St., died at her home on Sunday,
September 6, and her funeral was held from the Hale’s Chapel, with Rev. Mr.
Brown officiating., September 13.  She was a native of Norfolk.  She is survived
by her husband, Howard Ashburn, her mother, one brother and two sisters.  She
was buried in Calvary Cemetery.
