NORFOLK - Miss Sophia Askew, 66, of 2321 Carey St. died Friday in a Norfolk hospital
after a short illness. She was a native of Baltimore.

She is survived by a brother, Willie Askew, and three sisters, Mrs. Elnora
Carpenter, Miss Sylvania Askew and Mrs. Monticello Jones, all of Baltimore.

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be
conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Baptist Church by the Rev. J.Q.A. Lassiter.
Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
