She was a native of Berkley, a daughter of Thomas and Mrs. Nannie Ellington Asble. In addition to her husband, George T. Aswell, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jack Abbott, of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Cecil Williams, of Ocean Park; five brothers, William J. and Thomas M. Asble, of Portsmouth; Henry and Roy Asble, of South Norfolk, and Marcellus Lee Asble, U.S.N. Mrs. Aswell was a member of South Norfolk Christian Church. The body was taken to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
