Virginian-Pilot July 13, 1964
NORFOLK - Harry Atkinson, 61, son of William H. and Mrs. Mary Warren Atkinson, 
died in a hospital Sunday at 8:22 a.m.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a Baptist. Before his retirement, he 
taught piano lessons here for 35 years.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lina Harris of Chester, Pa.; and several nieces 
and nephews.
A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 a.m. 
by the Rev. Emory E. Byrum of Brentwood Baptist Church. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his niece, Mrs. Virginia 
Brisbois of 512 Dixie Drive.
