NORFOLK - Ulysses (Robert) Augson Sr. of 32 Julian St. died in Boston University 
Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Cottie Shepard Augson, and 
Joseph Augson. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include two daughter, Mrs. Gloria Coleman of Triangle, Va., and Mrs. 
Joyce Barge of Norfolk; three sons, Ulysses Grant Augson Jr., Donald Lee Augson, 
and Michael Lester Augson, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Derotha Gilliam, 
and Mrs. Clara Smith, both of Norfolk; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel by the 
Rev. Albert Augson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble 
at 2977 Hollister Ave. for the service.
