Norfolk - Funeral services were conducted Friday at B. F. King Funeral Home by 
the Rev. Joseph N. Green Jr. for Miss Pattie Austin, who died in a local hospital 
Aug. 30 after a lengthy illness.

A native of North Carolina and employed by the late Arthur C. Freeman, Miss 
Austin was a member of Grace PE Church and the women’s auxiliary.  She was buried 
in Calvary Cemetery.  There are no known survivors.
