Mrs. Thelma Jones Austin - Funeral services for Mrs. Austin, twin daughter of 
Mrs. Louise Southall Jones, who died at a local hospital Tuesday, Feb. 20, after 
a lingering illness, were conducted Feb. 25 at First Baptist Church at 1:30 p.m. 
with the pastor, the Rev. J. C. Diamond, officiating. During the funeral, solos 
were rendered by C. Bolt and Mrs. Leola Braye.

Mrs. Austin was the wife of Columbus A. Austin, of New York City, and had 
resided in New York for the past 20 years. Others surviving are mother, five 
brothers, two sisters and other relatives.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. The Chatman Funeral Home was in charge.
