Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 6, 1939

Mrs. Julia Holland Austin, widow of Hannibal Austin and daughter of James T. and 
Mrs. Arrilla Heath Holland, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 4 
o'clock yesterday morning at her residence, 1065 West Forty-six Street, in the 
77th year of her age. Mrs. Austin was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle. 
She is survived by one brother, Judge James T. Holland; two grandchildren, Emory 
H. and Richard H. Austin and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 
o'clock with the Rev Mott A. Cumby, pastor of the Baptist Tabernacle, 
officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
