Norfolk Virginian October 12, 1892
Mr. Edward M. Avery, a highly respected young gentleman, son of the late Colonel 
J. W. Avery, of Princess Anne county, died yesterday morning at 10:30 o’clock, at 
the residence, No. 906 Lovitt avenue, Brambleton Ward, aged 30 years. The funeral 
will take place today at 10 a.m. from St. Luke’s P. E. Church.
