Virginian-Pilot January 15, 1918
DEATH OF A CHILD
Wayne Pangburn Avery, the 18-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne C. Avery, died 
yesterday morning at 12:15 o’clock at the residence of his parents, 248 West 
Thirty-first street. The funeral will take place at the grave in Elmwood cemetery 
Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock and will be conducted by Rev. E. P. Miner of St. 
Luke’s Episcopal church.


Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy between the date of death recorded on his death certificate 
and that calculated from the obituary.
