A funeral service was held Tuesday at New Calvary Baptist Church for Mrs. Minnie 
Lee Avery, 57 of 615 E. Princess Anne road.

Elder Samuel A. Wilson officiated at the rites.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery 
under direction of Hale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Avery died Friday in a Norfolk hospital.  A native of Hickory, she was the 
daughter of the late Robert Dailey and Mrs. Phyllis Dailey.  She was a Norfolk 
resident 43 years.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Ramsey Avery;  a son, Robert L. Avery 
of Philadelphia;  a sister, Mrs. Alice Hinton of Norfolk;  and a brother, Manuel 
R. Dailey, also of Norfolk.
