 Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 7, 1936 
Mrs. Lillian Lassiter Avery was a native of and lifelong resident of Norfolk. 
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Clara Nicholas Lassiter and 
the wife of Benjamin F. Avery.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. John C. Davis of 
Norfolk, and a niece, Patricia Ann Davis.
Mrs. Avery was a member of Memorial Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 
o'clock. Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
