Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Thursday January 26, 1933
Ernest Christian Aydelotte, aged 53, son of the late William D. and Julia 
Hurst Aydelotte, was found dead on the bed at his residence, No. 8 Benedict 
Apartments, 812 Maury Place, late yesterday afternoon.  He apparently had 
been dead since Monday.  Mr. Aydelotte was a native and lifelong resident of 
Norfolk and held a clerical position with the Virginia Electric and Power 
Company.  He is survived by two brothers, Charles S. and Archie F. 
Aydelotte, both of Norfolk.  The body was removed to H.D. Oliver's Funeral 
apartments, 610-612 East Freemason street, pending funeral arrangements.

Ernest Christian Aydelotte - Funeral services for Mr. Aydelotte, whose death 
occurred Monday at his residence, 8 Benedict Apartments, 812 Maury place, 
will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 
610-612 East Freemason street.  Interment will be private in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
