NORFOLK - Charles Cary Aydelotte, 81, of 330 W. Brambleton Ave. died in his 
home Thursday morning.

A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a member of Larchmont United Methodist 
Church. He was a graduate of Norfolk Academy and Virginia Polytechnic 
Institute.

He was formerly married to the late Mrs. Marie Alice Deal Aydelotte and for 
five years to Mrs. Catherine S. Aydelotte.

He was the son of Charles Selden and Mrs. Capitola McCleary Aydelotte.

He was retired from the clothing business.

Surviving, besides his widow, are two sisters, Mrs. J. Kent Martin and Mrs. 
Capitola A. Saunders of Norfolk, and a brother, Earl L. Aydelotte of St. 
Petersburg, Fla.

The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. A funeral service will 
be held in Cedar Grove Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. William D. 
Parrish.
