Virginian-Pilot July 13, 1940
Henry Clinton Aydlett, aged 80, a native of Camden County, North Carolina, and a 
resident of Princess Anne County and Virginia Beach for the past eight years, 
died at the residence of his son, Howard Clinton Adylett, 1603 Mediterranean 
avenue, Thursday night at 11:30 o’clock after an illness of nine weeks. Besides 
his son, Howard Clinton Adylett, he is survived by two grandsons, Howard Clinton 
Adylett, Jr., and Charles Leonard Adylett, both of Virginia Beach.
Mr. Adylett was a member of the Baptist Church.	
 Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, 
Thirty-fifth street at Colonial avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock. 
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
