Virginian Pilot July 31, 1909

Mrs. Mattie C. Aydlotte, wife of C.A. Aydlotte, died at her home, Hickory 
Ground, Norfolk County, Thursday, in the 45th year of her age.  Her remains 
were brought to Norfolk yesterday and the interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, 
the service being conducted by Rev. R.J. Bateman, of Park Place Baptist 
Church.
The following pallbearers accompanied the remains from Hickory Ground to 
Norfolk:  L.P. Ives, L.C. Ives Jr., C.E. Rabey and J.T. Ansell.
