Virginian-Pilot April 23, 1939
Mrs. Margaret A. Ayers, aged 83, of Norfolk, died yesterday afternoon in Richmond 
at the home of a daughter, Mrs. I. A. Mooney, 1204 North Thirty-fifth street.
Mrs. Ayers is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mooney and Mrs. N. C. McFall, of 
Washington, D.C.; two sons, John W. Ayers, of Carrollton, and Herbert J. Ayers, of 
Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Capps, 735 May avenue, and Mrs. Donna Harris, 
1619 High street, Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be held in Richmond Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. 
Mooney. The body will be brought to Norfolk and an interment service will be held 
in a Norfolk cemetery.
