The Virginian Pilot November 4, 1959
Mrs. Margaret Davies Ayers, 82, widow of Vasco D. Ayers and daughter of the late 
Thomas and Mrs. Sarah Thomas Davies, a native of Swansea, Wales, and a resident 
of Norfolk the last 68 years, died Tuesday at 10:10 p.m. at her residence, 1208 
E Ocean View Ave., after a long illness.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rodney P. Ives and Mrs. Walter E. Williamson 
Jr.; one granddaughter, Mrs. David W. Agnew; three great-grandchildren, Miss 
Peggy Jane Agnew, Miss Betsy A. Agnew, and Miss Nancy W. Agnew, all of Norfolk, 
and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at Ewell and Williamson Funeral Home Thursday 
at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
