He was a member of Marshall Tarrall Camp 5, Spanish-American War Veterans. Besides his wife, Mrs. Essie Hale Ayers, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Pruitt, of Norfolk; one grandson, Randolph Bland Pruitt, and one great- grandson Randolph Bland Pruitt, Jr., both of San Diego, Calif, and one brother T. M. Ayers. Funeral services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W. Millard Stevens, pastor of the Christian Temple. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
