Virginian-Pilot January 29, 1907
John H. Ayers died at his home, No. 465 Queen street, at 5 o’clock yesterday 
morning in the 63d year of his age. He had been a resident of Norfolk for forty 
years. The funeral will be held from the residence at 3 o’clock this afternoon and 
will be conducted by the Rev. T. J. Taylor, of the Queen Street Methodist church.
