Bacchus, aged 69 years, died yesterday at the residence, 933 Fairfax avenue, after an illness of more than a year. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, George B. Bacchus of Vancouver, B.C.; two brothers, V.L. and Herbert T. Bacchus; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Boudro, Mrs. William J. Vanderberry and Mrs. Henry Wilder, all of Norfolk. Mr. Bacchus was well known and greatly esteemed. He was a member of the Red Men and the Odd Fellows. ************************************************************ Bacchus-At his residence 933 Fairfax Avenue, Wednesday afternoon, February 7, 1917, at 2 o’clock, James W. Bacchus, in the 70th year of his age. Funeral services from the above residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
