BACKUS, ALBERT CLEVELAND – At the residence, No. 820 Shirley avenue, Sunday, 
September 6, 1942, at 7:25 o’clock, ALBERT CLEVELAND, husband of Mrs. Katherine 
Seeley Backus, and son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mrs. Alice Virginia 
Parson Backus, IN the 58th year of his age. Remains will be taken from the above 
residence to the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial 
avenue, for services TUESDAY AFTERNOON at 3:30 o’clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
