BACKUS, ALICE VIRGINIA - At the residence of her son, B. T. Backus, 1019 Brandon 
avenue, Tuesday morning, May 2, 1933, at 4:54 o’clock, MRS. ALICE VIRGINIA BACKUS, 
widow of Benjamin Franklin Backus, aged 76 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 
531 Westover avenue, THURSDAY AFTERNOON at 3:30 o’clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
