p.m., BRUCE FRANKLIN BACKUS, son of Mrs. Pearl Stant Backus and the late B. 
Thurman Backus, in the 44th year of his age. Services at the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, SATURDAY AFTERNOON at 2 o’clock. Friends of the 
family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood cemetery.
