BACKUS – At the residence, Sewall’s (sic) Point, Norfolk Co., Va., on Wednesday, 
November 5th, at 4:55 o’clock p.m., OLIVE MELVILLE, daughter of A. J. and Sarah V. 
Backus.
Funeral services from Denby’s M. E. Church FRIDAY AFTERNOON, at 2:30 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood cemetery.
