He was a native of Surry County and had been a residence of Norfolk for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late William Jarrett Bage and Sarah Charles Bage. Besides his wife, Mrs. Millie S. Bage, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edith S. Parsons and Mrs. Girlie L Ellsworth, of New York City; one son, Leslie H. Bage, of Pittsburgh; one step-daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Waterfield, Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. B.F. Goodson, Baltimore, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family ask friends to omit flowers.
