Bailey died yesterday afternoon at 5:45 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Grace M. West, 1512 Forty-Eighth Street. The remains were taken to Gregory Funeral Home, 342 Granby Street, pending funeral arrangements. Mrs. Bailey was the widow of Charles Gay Bailey, was a native of England and had been in this country about 42 years. She was a member of Christ Church. Surviving are two sons, Gordon C. and Thomas M. Bailey, of Norfolk; one daughter, Mrs. West and 14 grandchildren. ***************************************************************************** BAILEY - At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Grace M. West, 1512 Forty-eighth street, Saturday, August 30, 1930, at 5:45 p.m. MAHALA E. BAILEY, wife of the late Charles Gay Bailey, aged 67 years, 10 days. The Remains will be taken from the Gregory Funeral Home, Thirty-fourth and Granby streets, to the Christ Church TUESDAY MORNING for funeral services at 10 o'clock, the Rev. E. P. Miner officiating. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
