Bailey were conducted Wednesday, May 13, 1 p.m., at Holy Bethel Temple by the Rev. Paul Bradley, pastor. Mr. Bailey, of 732 Avenue A, was a native of Norfolk and died at a local hospital May 10 at the age of 73. He had been employed by the Old Bay Line Steamship Co., and was a custom tailor and salesman for 25 years. He attended Norfolk Mission College and was a member of Holy Bethel Temple. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eunice B. Clay; three sons, Junius W. Bailey, Harold L. Bailey, both of Norfolk, and Sgt. Vernon M. Bailey, stationed in France; and seven grandchildren. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hughes Funeral Home in charge.
