Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, June 4, 1996 
Lucille Jacobs Bailey, 89, of the 900 block of Wolcott Ave., died May 31, 1996,
in a local hospital.

She was the widow of William Bailey. She was born in Norfolk and was a member of
St. John A.M.E. Church, Norfolk.

She is survived by three sisters, Miss Evelyn Jacobs, Mrs. Dorothea Gray and
Mrs. Vivian J. Wnay, all of Norfolk; a brother, Edward H. Jacobs; two
brothers-in-law; two nieces; two nephews; two great-nephews; two great-nieces;
and two god children.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday by the Rev. I.W. Knight at St. John
A.M.E. Church, Bute Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral
Home is in charge. The family will be at 981 Wolcott Ave., Norfolk.
