The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 2, 1914


Mrs. Ida M. Bailey, wife of N.T. Bailey, died at 10:15 o’clock yesterday 
morning at the family residence, 45 Second Street, Riverside. She was 62 years 
old. Mrs. Bailey was a native of North Carolina, but had lived in Norfolk 
during the past thirty-five years. She is survived by her husband, a son, C.N. 
Bailey; two daughters, Mrs. W.W. Gordon and Miss Ida Louise Bailey; a niece, 
Mrs. Irene Land and two brothers, W.M. and W.S. Dozier.
The funeral will take place at 2 o’clock this afternoon at the above residence. 
Services will be conducted by Rev. B. Lacy Hoge of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist 
Church.
