The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark February 6, 1920
George H. Bain died at his residence, 409 Rose avenue, yesterday morning, 
following a lingering illness. He was 54 years of age. Mr. Bain was a native 
of Petersburg and had been a resident of Norfolk for thirty-five years.
He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Virginia Heppell Bain; a daughter, Miss Pattie 
Bain, and three sons, Marion, Tyeria and William Bain, all of Norfolk. The 
funeral will take place at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. 
Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
