Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday May 26, 1944
Mrs. Lillie Nicholas Bain, 73, widow of Henry McRea Bain, and daughter of the 
late Nathaniel W. and Mrs. Georgia N. Rogers Nicholas, a lifelong resident of 
this section, died at the residence, North Shore Point, last night at 8:30 
o'clock. Mrs. Bain was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, 
Meadowbrook. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles R. Boyd, and a nephew, 
Stafford Boyd, both of Norfolk. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, pending arrangements.
