In Berkley, on Monday, November 8th, at twenty minutes past 8 o'clock p.m., at 
the residence of her father-in-law, Captain Joseph Baker, Mrs. FANNIE G. BAKER, 
wife of Captain Gordon K. Baker and eldest daughter of Mr. John R. Hathaway, 
aged 25 years, leaving to mourn her loss loving parents, a fond and devoted 
husband, two sweet little children (too young to realize their terrible 
bereavement) and a large circle of deeply afflicted relatives and warmly 
attached friends.
The funeral services will be held THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON, at 3 o'clock at 
the residence of Captain Joseph Baker. The friends and acquaintances of the 
several families affected by this sad bereavement are invited to attend.

DEATH OF AN ESTEEMED LADY - With unaffected grief we this morning announce the 
death of Mrs. Fannie G. Baker, wife of Capt. Gordon K. Baker, of Berkley, which 
occurred at 9 o'clock on Monday evening last, after a brief but painful illness. 
Mrs. Baker is the eldest daughter of John R. Hathaway, Esq., and was in the 
bloom of her youth, not having yet passed the twenty-fifth year of her age. She 
was the idol of her social circle and as wife, mother and daughter was most 
exemplary in these relations. We refer to the funeral notices for further 
particulars and tender our warmest sympathies to bereaved parents and husband.
