Virginian-Pilot October 5, 1947
Edward Neal Baker, 80, son of the late Maj. William T. and Mrs. Sarah Collins 
Baker, a native and former resident of Norfolk, died Friday at 8:20 p.m. at 
Wadesboro, N.C. Funeral services were held at Wadesboro yesterday afternoon, and 
the body will be brought to Norfolk and taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments to Elmwood Cemetery for services at the grave this afternoon at 4 
o’clock, with the Rev. Beverley Tucker White, rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal 
Church, officiating.
