Baker, 98, the widow of Dr. B. M. Baker, a Norfolk physician, died Friday in Baltimore. She was Theodosia Burr Potts, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Potts of New York. She married Dr. Baker in 1893 and began a long life of participation in church and civic affairs of Norfolk. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and Monday Club. Surviving are two sons, the Rt. Rev. Richard H. Baker, retired bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, and Dr. B. M. Baker Jr., professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. A funeral service will be held today at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church by the Rev. Walton W. Davis. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
