Daily Pilot Friday August 16 1895
BAKER - At his late residence, on Clifton street, Berkley, yesterday morning at 
4:30 o'clock, Capt. G.K. BAKER, son of the late Capt. Joseph Baker, aged 45 
years.
Funeral from the Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON  
at 5 o'clock.  Friends and acquaintances invited to attend.

The many friends of Captain G.K. Baker will be pained to learn of his death, 
which occurred at his residence, on Clifton street, yesterday morning at 4:30 
o'clock, after a lingering illness from brain trouble.  The deceased was the son 
of the late Joseph Baker and was well known by steamboat men and sea captains.  
He leaves a widow and three children to mourn their loss.  His funeral will take 
place this afternoon at 5 o'clock from the Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian 
Church.

Capt. Girty K. Baker, son of the late Capt. Joseph Baker, died in Berkley 
Wednesday night.  He was formerly a native of Portsmouth.
