Aylett G. Baker, 77, of the 5300 block of Rolfe Ave., a retired designer, died 
Jan. 28, 1992, in his home.
Mr. Baker was born in Newport News.  He had retired from the Newport News 
Shipyard.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  He was very active in 
Little League Youth Baseball and the youth basketball program at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah McPhillips Baker; a son, Dr. J. Patrick Baker, 
of Norfolk; a brother, Ralph J. Baker, of Newport News; and two grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by the Rev. John Dorgan.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  
A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk.
Memorial donations may be made to the church's Youth Basketball Program.
