Baker, Lucie Ward - At a local hospital, Saturday, September 25, 1954, at 3:45 
a.m., Lucie Ward Baker, widow of Comdr. Henry T. Baker and daughter of the late 
John F. and Lucie Drewrey Ward, died in the 80th year of her age.  Remains will be 
taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church, for services Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.  Friends of the 
family are invited to attend.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Lucie Ward Baker, 79, widow of Comdr. Henry T. Baker and daughter of the late 
John F. and Mrs. Lucie Drewrey Ward, died yesterday at 3:45 a.m. at a Norfolk 
hospital.
Mrs. Baker, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, resided at 528 Boissevain Avenue.  She 
is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Katharine B. Haynes, of Norfolk; one son, (sic)
